Do you have some experience handling a firearm but want to sharpen your skills and increase your confidence in carrying and shooting a gun? If so, this course is for you. Starting with safety and firearm skills, we build on the foundations of shooting in this basic to intermediate course. - How to safely perform mag changes from your mag pouch
- Shoot & no-shoot scenarios and use of deadly force

- Load – reload – emergency drills
- Movement while shooting
- Shooting from behind cover
Realistic “Live” Training If you’re looking for more than the knowledge you learn in a classroom, this course provides real experience at an outdoor shooting range. The realistic training you receive teaches you how to safely carry a firearm and defend yourself and your family.
Requirements All students must complete the Range Day Orientation course before registering for this course. Additionally, to complete this course, students should supply their own firearms.
All students must bring a good belt and holster for their firearm, 3 magazines, and must supply 250 rounds of ammunition for use at the range. If you don’t have a firearm, one can be rented from Pilum.
